Evan & Marissa | Whyndham Grand Rio Mar

 

Today is a beautiful day to feature a beautiful wedding on the blog.  Happy to share our favorite moments from Evan and Marissa's destination wedding at the Whyndham Grand Rio Mar,  a beautiful resort located in the town of Rio Grande, I know a bit out of our regular area of coverage but we where more than happy to travel to the east side of the island and document this lovely couple's wedding day. 

Is funny because many years ago I did do an engagement session at this hotel and I fell in love with the grounds and the architecture of the resort, something you don't get to see on the west, the west side has its own charm with small villas and the best sunset on the island.  Back then when I did the engagement session I said to myself someday I will be back to shoot a wedding.  While it took me around maybe 12 years aprox to return and I had already forgotten about it , the moment I walked in I remembered. 

I am glad my return was with Marissa & Evan's wedding a lovely young couple who had a beautiful garden ceremony follow by their reception.  The day was perfect.
